Hope for the Girl Child in Africa is an independent, non-political, non-religious, and non-profit membership program registered in Kenya under Home Network of Africa, with regional operations across Africa. Established in 2018, we bring together individuals and partners committed to advancing the dignity, protection, empowerment, and wellbeing of girls across Africa.
We exist to stand in the gap for vulnerable girls—reaching those facing poverty, menstrual insecurity, teen motherhood, abuse, street life, and exclusion.

Standing in the gap for vulnerable girls
Hope for the Girl Child serves girls and young women across Africa, with a special focus on those who are vulnerable, marginalized, underserved, or at risk — facing poverty, menstrual challenges, early pregnancy and teen motherhood, gender-based violence and abuse, street life, and limited access to education and healthcare.
We also work with families, caregivers, schools, communities, organizations, and leaders to strengthen the protection, empowerment, and opportunities available to the girl child.
